well, just like the rest of us in central texas, we have been bombarded with an unusual amout of rain here latley. matter of fact, it nearly rained every day for the last 3 month, causing the lake level at stillhouse to rise to 30 to 40 feet. this has been quite interesting, as far as gaining access to the marina. the guys out there did a great job keeping things running while the rest of the lake was shut down. only boat owners who rent a marina slip currently have access to the lake.
The blue line illustrates the the current lake level, the red line illustrates the road that was build by the marina, and the yellow shows the path that had to be walked, including a long staircase that was build by the marina.
According to lake personal, the lake level is finnaly dropping at 6 inches per day, that means that the lake should return to normal level in about 3 month... just in time for the cooler weather to kick in...well i cant swim at the moment anyways, because i still have 6 weeks left on my patch... but spring is never far away in texas, you just have to hurry, because it will be gone soon

finely stopes raining. Every thing is flooded around the lake. We were
desperatly trying to find a place to beach. Well we did find a place.

first of all, i am trying to figure out how this thing is build. as of now, it has been a logical paradox to imagine the engineering concept of this device
...but then i found a comment under this article that pointed out an even more important dilemma.
Sheila and i just discovered the killeen bike and hike trail. it is not a bad alternative to walk your dog. The trail is brand new for the city, so new, that Google earth does not even have it showing up in their image database. therefore i had to highlight the approximate path the trail makes. the main trail which runs from ws young to 38th street is about 1 mile long, and runs along Nolan creek. the loop of the trail, which is also 1 mile long, goes around the sports complex. i think that that the trail is a nice start with potential to be great as soon as some more trees have been planted and some landscaping around the creek. the big minus about the trail is that it runs not far along a sewage plant, which can be pretty apparent at some parts of the trail. i am excited to what extend the city will expand the trail.

animal shelter. Last night we let him out in his outdoor cage to
nibble on fresh grass. We totally forgot that he was out there and we
went on with our day. At 4pm sheila came home and informed me that

...in our neighborhood is something we have been forced to do ever since all the hiking trails around the lake have been flooded. also, since i stopped smoking, i need to do something to make the time pass. I think it is a win win situation. the dog needs to be walked, and so do we. I am really glad that we decided to explore our neighborhood. well 1.21miles is not very impressive. but we are pretty much locked into this path, unless we want to enter the crack block, which is just east of our most eastern rout. notice how quickly we got off that road and back on to ours...

and 9th patch. My silly butt changed the patch before taking a shower
this morning. So I ended up washing the new patch off, and had to put
on another after drying off. So it looks for now that I will be
getting off the patch a day early.
A good friend told me that cinimen sticks are good to have when
quitting, so I took her advise and made a pack of them

reunion. I was holding that more people that I hung out with would be
there . Oh well, at least I got a t-shirt out of it. Tonight is the
Galla but we are not going. It was great to see won Jin and mrs
warner. It was also good to see tobias, whom I had not even thought
about sine highschool. I am waiting to see the video that he made.
class mates at ihop. Its been pretty interesting, last night I saw
many familiar faces, I remembered a few names. But for the most part,
I could not remember people I went to school with . Still it was a
good time, bit I guess your typical high school reunion

...was probably a more interesting day. I had only a minor craving,
but I just wanted to smoke anyways. Especialy since today was the meet
and greet for my ten hear high school reunion. It was interesting to
see some of the folks I went to hjghschool with. I got to see my old
journalism teacher mrs warner, which I will meet tomorrow for
breakfest with won Jin kim at th ihop. I think I can get used to the
idea of being a non smoker. I do enjoy the smell when other people are
smoking around me. But drinking wine or liquere is no problem. I just
can't enjoy beer yet. Tomorrow i am going to the BBQ for the khs of 97
group . But I am going to spend the latter part of the afternoon with
chris watching 300.

My 4th day of being smoke free was probably the best one so far. I did
not have a single major craving. But instead I had a constant mini
craving, which was a little annoying but not disabilitading like day
three was. I am now making sure that my patch does not fall off during
my sleep by wraping it with gauss. It is true what they say about
having vivid dreams while sleeping with the patch. I have been having
crazy dreams latly which are pretty cool . I just hope that I will not
have a horror dream. Well I am also of the nite quill. I am doing the
benedryl for now. Well good night again
