so sheila and i decided to go camping after all. it was a debate up until we went, because we were not sure if the weather was going to cooperate. turns out we had great weather, with the nights being quite comfortable with help of a friends space heater.
we spend 3 nights at McKinney state park. it is only like 20 min outside of downtown austin. we spend the days hiking with the dogs mostly.
