my biggest worry was for rudy to make it through the primary, with his loss in florida, he ended his campain and went on to endorsing mr "100 year war". it now comes down to huck, $mitt$, mccain, and the champion of freedom ron paul. the media is currently endorsing mcain. i am excited about super tuesday on feb 5th. i wonder who how many states ron paul is going to claim...providing there is no voter fraud like in new hampshire.

LOL

I found this website, it illustrates and tels the story about how Frankfurt rebuild itself, after being almost totally destroyed in World War II. It is pretty fascinating if you are interested. the site is in German, but the pictures alone are great to look at.

Survey came out today. Turns out that my neighbors built their fence
on our property. So legaly they are our fence.

Great book. It even shows pictures of my old neighborhood that I grew
up in

I am making ice tea

Something went goofy, but we got the rest of the tree out

Guliani is most likley out of the race after Florida. Mccain and
huckuby are running on fumes. Mitt has his own money and Paul has a
aggressive supporter base. Just a thought.

Hook up the DVD player we got her for christmas, move some furniture
and to show her stuff on the computer

...to give me an estimate on new windows. Not too bad considering that
I have 10 windows. There is one problem though; home depot will either
remove and dispose of my burgled bars, or I would have to have someone
else remove and reatache the bars. I definetly don't want to loose my
bars, and I don't even want to know how much it is going to cost for
the latter. The home depot guy said that I could save about $20 per
month with new windows. So the windows would have paid for themselves
in 18 years. But new windows would also save the wear and tear of my
cooling and heating system.

so I think I will replace my windows myself. I will first of all
leave the bars up, and install the windows from the inside of the
house. I will remove my exsisting windows by just removing the glass
and leaving the frame in place. Then I will just simply install the
windows directly on to the window sill. I could even install a window
sill the extends out into the room like they have in Germany. That way
I will spend maybe $1500 on my windows, and have it pay for itself in
roughly 6 years.

Dealing with the guy from home depot was very pleasend. The first
thing he said to me was that we have two things in common. First; we
both have white cars. Second; we both have ron Paul bumper stickers on
them. So the bulk his concultarion was about ron Paul.

it is clear that people want ron paul. everyone else is a fucking neo-con asshole.

He never replied to any of my emails. Only after I filed a dispute
through paypal did he finaly contact me and made some lame excuse. But
now I got it and I am happy.

Today we had ericas farewell cake and punch. She is going to work at
channel 25 as a morning news production assistant. She has to be at
the station at 4am but she gets off at noon.

WASHINGTON - A study by two nonprofit journalism organizations found that President Bush and top administration officials issued hundreds of false statements about the national security threat from Iraq in the two years following the 2001 terrorist attacks.

The study concluded that the statements "were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses."

The study was posted Tuesday on the Web site of the Center for Public Integrity, which worked with the Fund for Independence in Journalism.

White House spokesman Scott Stanzel did not comment on the merits of the study Tuesday night but reiterated the administration's position that the world community viewed Iraq's leader, Saddam Hussein, as a threat.

"The actions taken in 2003 were based on the collective judgment of intelligence agencies around the world," Stanzel said.

WMD, al-Qaida links debunked
The study counted 935 false statements in the two-year period. It found that in speeches, briefings, interviews and other venues, Bush and administration officials stated unequivocally on at least 532 occasions that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction or was trying to produce or obtain them or had links to al-Qaida or both.

"It is now beyond dispute that Iraq did not possess any weapons of mass destruction or have meaningful ties to al-Qaida," according to Charles Lewis and Mark Reading-Smith of the Fund for Independence in Journalism staff members, writing an overview of the study. "In short, the Bush administration led the nation to war on the basis of erroneous information that it methodically propagated and that culminated in military action against Iraq on March 19, 2003."

Named in the study along with Bush were top officials of the administration during the period studied: Vice President Dick Cheney, national security adviser Condoleezza Rice, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, Secretary of State Colin Powell, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz and White House press secretaries Ari Fleischer and Scott McClellan.

Bush led with 259 false statements, 231 about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and 28 about Iraq's links to al-Qaida, the study found. That was second only to Powell's 244 false statements about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and 10 about Iraq and al-Qaida.

Media 'validation'
The center said the study was based on a database created with public statements over the two years beginning on Sept. 11, 2001, and information from more than 25 government reports, books, articles, speeches and interviews.

"The cumulative effect of these false statements — amplified by thousands of news stories and broadcasts — was massive, with the media coverage creating an almost impenetrable din for several critical months in the run-up to war," the study concluded.

"Some journalists — indeed, even some entire news organizations — have since acknowledged that their coverage during those prewar months was far too deferential and uncritical. These mea culpas notwithstanding, much of the wall-to-wall media coverage provided additional, 'independent' validation of the Bush administration's false statements about Iraq," it said.

Our neighbore took the liberty on trimming our bushes down so he could
paint his fence. Great, then that is something I don't have to do next
week. I also appreciate that he built the fence with the pretty side
facing our property. Next week he is going to let me use his
chainsaw, so I can cut down the tree stump that remained after sheila
and I got done playing lumberjacks yesterday.

Nothing enhances the illustion more than when the first thing the
waiter asks for after he offers you a sample of wine is for your ID.
But that Is not what upset me about dinning here. What really pissed
me off was the manditory gratuity.

Sheila and I went out to eat with her coworkers. It was an
appreciation dinner for all the great stuff sheila and her coworkers
did. Understandably, the spouses had to cover their bill while sheila
and her gang were covered. So we were about 8 people to the table. I
got a separate bill from the rest. Olive garden had the nerve to
charge a 19% tip on my ticket.

Since when did tipping become manditory ? I can understand if the
group of six have a percentage added to the whole ticket, but I was
the only one on my ticket. WTF !? Am I the only one that thinks
something is wrong with that.

Well I emptied my wallet and all I had was enough money to cover my
bill and 10% for the tip. So I figured I split the difference and
leave it at that.

The waiter had the nerves to come up to me and ask for the rest of the
tip. I did not make a scene because I did bot want to embarace sheila
infring of her coworkers

I think I am going to call the olive garden corp office and complain.
Or I'll have jimmy call for me. Maybe I can get a giftcard out of it.

These have been hanging around for awhile now

so nevada had their caucus last night and ron paul made second, that is a great victory for him and the home team...

but FUCKS news on the other hand put ron paul at third...but not only that, on the fox grafics they showed the picture of the first place, second place, and fourth place winner...

...now what the fuck is that about... if this is'st just play bias propaganda, than i dont know what is...

Like I said. I got crazy on ebay. I ordered this messenger bag for $5.
Once I got it I realized how girly it was, so sheila now has a new bag.

A couple of weeks ago I went crazy on ebay. I bought this book for $.
99. It was first published in 1958 and has pictures of that era and
before wwII.

Hello Volunteers!

On our California Conference Call earlier this evening, I mentioned
that I had been informed that the Granny Warriors' PayPal account had
been frozen at the last minute by PayPal and the freeze prevented the
transfer of the fee for the New Hampshire vote recount. I promised to
verify this information and I have now done so.

I am informed directly by the Granny Warriors that PayPal did in fact
freeze the funds earmarked for the Recount Fees! So, now you know who
to blame for the failure to get a recount of the New Hampshire vote
count. PayPal.
The application for a recount of the New Hampshire vote required a
deposit of $55,600 to the New Hampshire Secretary of State no later
than 3:00 P.M. this afternoon, January 15th. A huge and successful
effort by the Granny Warriors raised the money and they ordered the
transfer to the Secretary. However, at the very last moment, PayPal
FROZE THE ACCOUNT and did not transfer the money. The deadline for
payment of the deposit passed and the recount application was rejected
for lack of payment.

Emergency efforts by our folks on the scene in New Hampshire to push
the recount through the Secretary's office were not successful and a
lot of frustration has been expressed on both sides as a result. The
problem was not with the Secretary of State for New Hampshire, it was
with PayPal. I understand that the matter may remain unresolved and a
recount may still be possible. I am hoping for additional information
early Wednesday, January 16th.

I am sure that PayPal will have a lot of excuses, but lame excuses are
not acceptable under these circumstances.

Here is the PayPal contact URL:
https://investor.shareholder.com/paypal/contactus.cfm

Thank you to the Granny Warriors and to the others on the ground in
New Hampshire who went beyond the call of duty for the recount and a
big BOO to PayPal. We should remember who our friends are. And we
should also remember which companies, organizations and people act to
oppose our fight for Liberty and Self-Determination. I will pass along
more information as it becomes available.

Best regards,
