we got a late start today, but the weather was not "too" hot. we got to try our new paddles today...much better, we can keep the canoe in more of a straight line now. the only thing is that now we get more water splashing in the canoe, which is not a big deal, since the inside of the canoe is wet as soon as you step into it after you had your shoes submerged during launch. i also went ahead and placed some more cache... i think i can put one more on "treasure island" to keep the the .1 mile guideline with geocaching.com
fun day, after we stoped at moms and had some BBQ, and i helped ernest with the building of the deck
